I worked as a secretary at a prestigious Georgian stately home just outside of Leeds for four years in the late 1980’s and during that time was inspired to write Rejection Runs Deep, which is purely fictitious and the plot and characters in no way resemble anyone who lived or worked there.
Once the book was completed and published, I didn’t want to let the characters go so Delia’s Daughter followed, then Katrina and finally, the addition of a novella, The Secret.
Having had a keen interest in stately homes and history from a very early age, this series has been a delight to write and I hope you find it just as delightful to read.
